Chestnut Grove Natural Area is a 140-acre preserve managed by LCSWMA, and is located just off of the Susquehanna in the southwest part of the county. The preserve consists of a number of interlocking trails, which wind through grasslands, wetlands, forested areas, and lead to an incredible overlook of the Susquehanna. With its diverse habitats, Chestnut Grove is one of the most active birding locations in the county.
