Blue Rock Rd. Boat Launch is located on the Susquehanna River in Washington Boro and is connected to the Blue Rock Heritage Center. It is adjacent to an area of the Susquehanna known as the Conejohela Flats, which is recognized by the Audubon Society as an important bird area. Conejohela Flats serves as a stopping point on the migratory path for many shorebirds and waterfowl, which can be seen in abundance at the launch during migration seasons. A scope or kayak is recommended for the best birding experience, but a lot of species can be observed with just a pair of binoculars.
